My passion is photography – and in particular, trying to capture and interpret the ever-changing light and moods of the New Zealand landscape - in particular Sumner, a coastal suburb of Christchurch, where I live, and the South Island.

It’s a real challenge to overcome the traditional “postcard” or snapshot image of the landscape, and to try to convey the true connection with or appreciation of the land that exists in our minds. Over time my aim is to produce images that resonate and have some lasting value.
